The CASIO fx-5 is a pseudo scientific calculator. It has all the basic
scientific operations but it also has:
roots and squares, the inverse functions, brackets and the cube root function. It also
has memory, percentage and can operate with fractions. It also has a π key
for the mathematical constant.
Operations are automatically repeated when pressing a basic operator twice. A "K" symbol at the left of the display indicates that repeated operations are in progress. It has auto power-off. Memory is not retained when the calculator is in the auto power-off state. To switch it back on press the AC key. |
